Moms in West Islip...north of SS

I was wondering if there are any moms in this area. We are looking for a house in this area, going to make an offer tomorrow hopefully, and was wondering how you liked the neighborhood and schools...

Although I don't post often I have lived in this area for 2 1/2 years and I have 2 children who attend school which we are happy with. Great sport programs, close to the beach, shopping, great schools and a nice community. I wish you luck with the house. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

We are hopefully getting a house here soon...we are going back and forth with the owners. Anyway, my husband and I have both lived in this area all our lives, and I also did my student teaching and subbing here. I wanted to make sure that I stayed north of the train tracks, because I like those three schools the best. Plus, another reason that we want to live here is because they have a good sports program. As with any town, there are flaws in the educational system, but as long as you are on top of your kids, you should be fine! Good luck!!!

My husband and I both grew up in West Islip and live there now. We love it and I am sure you will too!
