those of you who pay your daily babysitter per hour
If DC doesn't go one day (b/c he has a dr. appointment and I am taking the day off) would you still pay the sitter for the day bc it is a regularly scheduled day that he would normally be there?
My babysitter said we only pay her for days he is there, but I feel a little bad bc it is not a holiday, etc. It is just a day I am taking off.

My Baby sitter actually set thr rule if I cancel I pay if she Cancels I don't pay. I hate to pay if the kids are not there but she is our daily sitter so i suck it up to being like sick pay for her. And to Boot she never cancels..

If you agreed ahead of time then it sounds like you don't have to pay her. You could be nice and pay her anyway or maybe give her half. I think in your situation it's your call.

Do you think I should just ask her if she wants me to pay her? If she does, i have no problem paying her, but on the other hand, the money could be used for many other things....
