Open School Night
Does anyone else get nervous?
I meet with the parents on Tuesday for only an hour and some parents for less than that.
Does anyone ever serve refreshments?
If so, what do you get??

My open house is on Wednesday!!! I am soo not ready!! I don't serve refreshments, but I usually make a slideshow/movie of the kids the first few weeks of school, but I can't this year because it is so early, I haven't even had time to take pics of the kids yet!! I always get so nervous and speak so quickly!!

I get nervous!! I can speak to a room full of kids with no problem but give me a room full of adults and I can't form sentences! I team teach and we have all the parents go in one room. We will probably have some juice and munchkins.

I am exactly the same- I get sooooo nervous in front of grown-ups, so I rely on my team to do most of the speaking. I work the LCD projector and do a little of the talking, but it's known on my team that I am a huge wuss about talking!

I am actually kind of the opposite...
I am a talker by nature, and talking in front of a room of parents does not bother me.
I have packets that I work from.
I do not put out refreshments. Once I am done talking and I answer questions, I want everyone to pretty much head on out!!!

Back to School night is Thursday - we get 10 minutes with the parents of each class and I just talk the entire time so they can't get a question in!
