I would feel the same way. I grew up with "aunts" and "uncles" all up and down the block. Actually, it wasn't until I was older I realized they weren't actually related. I have felt those same feelings of guilt. Wishing I could give my brother a niece or nephew or cousins for his kids. Wishing I could give my IL's a grandchild. I think we just feel these things stronger than most because of our deep desire to provide the cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchild, etc., to our families. Does that make sense, or am I rambling? This is my first reply:)
