I was thinking maybe O cramps. I have them right now too on the left side and man is it killing me!

okay, terrific.. but why didnt i get a dark line on the opk this am then?  the line i got yesterday early evening was darker.. but still not darker than the control line.

It's possible you're getting ready to O.
Remember, OPKs should be done between 2 and 8 pm after having held in your urine for 4 hours.
It's possible that by testing in the morning, you will miss the beginning of your surge, which could be an important time to BD.
