Baby Nurse?

I have no idea where to find one...

I know they can be pricey but my family isn't closeby, so it's something I'm considering for the first week home from the hospital.

Has anyone used someone (or an agency) that they'd recommend?

TIA.

I used one that I got through a recommendation of a friend of a friend. She was great - I think she came from an agency. I can give you the number if you want.

I really appreciate any (contacts/#/suggestions) information all of you can share. I'm really at a loss as to a starting point. Please FM me with the specific details. Thanks again.

Re: Baby Nurse?

I had a terrific baby nurse and fm'd you her information. Several of my picky friends used her before I did and referred her to me. I interviewed 5 people and finally chose her due to experience and personality. She also had her CNA which I appreciated. She was with me for 6 weeks. Best of luck!

Re: Baby Nurse?

JMO- I wouldn't go through an agency. I don't feel that they screen as well as they could. If you ultimately do go through an agency, grill the dickens out of a few references. Change some details that you know to be true to be fake and see if they correct you. Good luck!

eta: I have another name and number for you as well if you are interested. A friend raves about her.
