I really like the stairs on the side. It seems to make so much more sense having them comr out onto the brick patio, instead of the grass. Good job!

Yes, thats why we moved them. The patio wasn't always there, we just got that last summer. We usually have our fire pit and conversational furniture there.

Looks awesome! Came out great!
Now have your hubby build a gate or door for the stairs, so next summer you can put your toddler on the deck with his/her toys without worring that he or she may fall off the stairs. My kids loved playing on the deck it was like a larger version of their playpen.

The Trex is nice isn't it... You can walk on it bare footed and not worry about those nasty splinters you can get on wood...
