C-Section moms Q

Hello I have a question, I had a C-section with my first baby and would like to have a second soon. I have a big ugly keloid scar and was wondering if somehow having had a C-section makes it more difficult to conceive? I just figured since the uterus was cut maybe that affects the implantation, does anyone know anything about this? Thank you for anyone who can provide insight Chat Icon

Well, my second child was completely UNPLANNED so, to answer your question, I had no difficulties at all becoming preggers. Chat Icon

Re: C-Section moms Q

It took me a few months to get pregnant the second time. With DS, it was the first month trying.

Re: C-Section moms Q

I had a c-section with my 1st, and I got pregnant my first month trying with baby #2, it doesn't have anything to do with having a c-section.

Re: C-Section moms Q

My sister had 4 c-sections and 3 of them are all less then 15mos apart from each other. So I'm guessing not a problem Chat Icon

Re: C-Section moms Q

no, but about the scar (I have a bad one too), my OB said with the second pregnancy, they will use the same incision, use different stitches this time, and hopefully it will heal better with no big ugly scar.
