The first prenatal visit was awesome! The baby is perfect and measuring 8wks2days (a week ahead of what we thought). When we saw the heartbeat we started tearing up. It finally seemed so real. My new due date is Dec 2! I can't stop looking at the pics we got. I'll try to post them later on :)
For all you ladies waiting for the first visit, it is really wonderful. I think we both slept with smiles on our face the whole night.

I'm so happy to hear that your appointment went well  I'm impatiently waiting for my 1st appoitnment on 5/5. I have a  for you...the dr said that you're a week ahead then what you thought. I feel like I may be further ahead then what I am too BUT it doesn't add up from my LMP. I tested at 6DPO and got a VERY CLEAR positive...no faint line. Anyway, I'm just rambling but I didn't know if they explained how you could be further ahead then what you really are.
I hope I just made sense

Yes, it makes sense :) He said it could be one of two things: i either ovulated earlier than I thought, or the baby is growing fast. He said either way is fine because when babies grow faster/measure larger, it's usually a good sign that things are going well and there are likely no genetic abnormalities. I actually got preggo on the pill (well, I started the pack late) so it's entirely possible that I ovulated earlier. I also tested about 6 days before I was due for AF and it was a pretty strong line.

has anyone else had their visit?
I'm seeing my new gyno in two weeks, just before Mother's Day weekend. After that I'll be ready to reveal the news.
Also, anyone else made a baby purchase yet? I already bought a few babydoll tops from Century 21 and bought a baby play book at Barnes and Noble for just $7.

Mamabear, great news on the first visit...isn't it exciting to see your little peanut??
I am going on Monday for my 8th week sono...can't wait to see my little bean....I started out pregnant with twins so I want to see what is happening with the other baby...at my 6th week sono we only heard one heartbeat, the other sac was measuring 2-3 days behind and the doctor said most likely it will not make it....it is called vanishing twin syndrome.....
Monday I will also reveal my real identity (if all is well)...can't wait to get rid of the fake name....I am a graduate from the infertility board so can't wait to share my good news.....

YEAH!!! Now I really can't wait for my appointemnt. I feel like I'm a week earlier then I am...I'm supposibly 7w2d today. I'll be excited if my EDD is sooner then I thought. Right now it's Dec 10th.

Snickers, it seems we are right on each others' schedules! I will be going for MY first sono on Tuesday as well, and I'll be 6 1/2 weeks, too!

MS has started for me! I'm not actually throwing up, but definitely feeling like I can go any second....The exhaustion is beyond me!!!
I'm also being insanely impatient about my first sono on 5/20. I want to beg my doctors office to let me go in earlier

Morning sickness officially hit me today. I felt incredibly nauseous yesterday and woke up at 2 am feeling awful. I had a few ginger snap cookies at 2 am and 6 am, which helped. Then I got sick this morning. I now have red dots all over my face and neck. I guess I broke a bunch of capillaries. 
I've been eating a lot of saltines since then. I'm feeling a bit better, but I know it will get worse again.
I also have a lot of trouble sleeping. I'm freezing cold, then hot, then cold again. I can't have a heavy blanket near my stomach b/c it bothers me. My boobs are also really sore, which makes it difficult to turn from one side to another.

Hi ladies,
I had my 8th week sono yesterday and all is perfect...I am measuring 2 days ahead so my EDD is 12/6.....We heard the heartbeat again which was strong and healthy...what a great feeling.....the little peanut is getting so big!!! we could see arms and legs...it was great!!!
I also graduated from my RE office and have been released to my regular OBGYN....I still can't believe this is happening......after 2 years of TTC it is still like a dream.......
Melijane - GL today!!!!! Hope all goes well!!
ps. I might be coming out today or this week!!

 I'm sorry you aren't feeling well - I hope the MS passes quickly!
I've been feeling really queasy today, but no real MS yet (crossing my fingers!). My energy level is wierd - I go from super tired to full of energy and wanting to do summersaults. It's so wierd!
Jen - I am right there with you! May 20th seems to far away! Ugh!!! 3 weeks from today!
Feel good everyone!!!!

Congrats on hearing the hearbeat....must have been sooo exciting! My first appointment is not until 5/14. I'm counting down the days. I'm sooo nervous. I'm not tired like everyone else and my cramps come and go and are not as strong as they were. I took another HPT today because I'm soooo paranoid. I think I'm 5 weeks. Why do I feel so uneasy? I just that everything will be alright!!!!

I am not feeling sick…actually pretty good...the cramps come and go... I too took another pregnancy test today bc I just felt I was not feeling enough!!!! It was POSITIVE!!!!! I can’t wait for my first Sono on 5/5. I am a little nervous about flying to Key West Tomorrow for a wedding??? Did anyone else fly early in there pregnancy, again I am 5/6 weeks?????
