Some spotting today...
I am 5w4/5d. I noticed this morning when I wiped a very little bit of pinkish/brown on the tp. When I put in my progesterone supp (sorry tMI coming) there was some brown blood on the applicator. Later on I saw some brown mixed with the discharge (sorry again for the TMI) from the progesterone.
I called my dr. office and the nurse said not to worry, that because it is brown and spotty it is probably benign. I had an appointment for a sono anyway tomorrow, so I guess I will find out what is going on then.
I am freaking out a little because I also have had this weird hip pain on and off for more than a week, and pretty conisistent for the past couple of days. The nurse said that is normal too, but I am terrified that its ectopic or something else wrong.
Am I totally neurotic or did/does anyone else feel this way in the beginning?

It sounds normal! Plus being that you're inserting those prog supps, I'm sure that's causing some of the spotting too.

i totally know how you feel!
i recently went through this.. i had the pinkish /brown spotting also..
went to the doc yesterday and everything was fine!

Sounds normal. The same thing happened to me early on. The doctor said brown blood is old blood so it's OK. Try not to worry about! Just make sure you call your doctor of the blood turns red or you have cramping.

i didn't spot but i know that brown is nothing to worry about. as far as the hip pain goes, if it's near where your ovaries are the sono will confirm that it's not an ectopic - i had the same thing and it turned out that i had a cyst on my ovary where the egg released that was causing the pain. it's all gone now.
