Spinoff to "Front Door"

We need to replace our front door soon. Where did you buy your front door? We have looked at HD & Lowes, but was wondering if a door & window place would be a better option. Does HD & Lowes have better prices then door & window companies? Would love to see pics of your doors also. TIA!

We bought our door frm the same place we bought our front window - Windowrama. Lowes & HD didn't have what we wanted...and Windowrama had the best prices of the places I called.

We just purchased a new front door and back door from Unified. Their prices were better than HD, I think because we had to order special sizes for both doors. Unfortunately I'm still waiting on my front door because the first time they delivered it, it was manufacturered with the wrong swing. It was an honest mistake but it is really annoying that we paid for the doors 2 months ago and are still waiting. I went to Active Door & Window also. Their prices were MUCH higher but I have to say, they had a beautiful selection of doors! Much better than Unified. We just couldn't afford the $$$ prices.

we got ours at HD. we installed it ourselves.

We priced a ton of doors a couple of months ago. We plan to get a new door this Spring.

We are going to go with Active Window and door. They had a better deal and quality than HD & lowes. Their installation fee was much more reasonable.
