1st trimester...is so tough!!!

ok, i am entering my 9th week. It has been rough, between the nausea/vomiting, the exhaustion, not being able to stomach food, body soreness, i feel like a totally different woman. I am just hoping it will last another month and I will be a new person. I am calling out sick from work constantly... Please tell me it gets better over the next few months!!!! which months were the hardest for you ladies??.Chat Icon

Re: 1st trimester...is so tough!!!

I just had some morning nausea, but was VERY exhausted in the beginning. I was so glad when it stopped and felt more like myself again by the 2nd tri.

You'll feel better soon enough!Chat Icon

Im not going to lie to you, at 20 weeks sometimes I still throw up, and some days I still need a nap, but it definately eases up a little after 12-14 weeks...hang in there!

Re: 1st trimester...is so tough!!!

I was totally exhausted.....I used to go to work, come home & go right to bed......I ate what I could (carbs) and the only thing that really helped my nausea was sleep......but then gradually I started to feel more like my "old self"----it does get better, for me it was right around the 2nd trimesterChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: 1st trimester...is so tough!!!

around 5-6 weeks the morning sickness and nausous were horrible. All day everyday. Now at 7 1/2 weeks I am tired but not as sick. Maybe like twice a day i feel sick but thats nothing compared to what it was.

I would love if by the 2nd tri i felt a lot better

I am at 12.5 weeks and the worst for me was around 8-11 weeks. I was really sick last week but feel a teensy bit better this week.

I agree with you. I am late in my third and even as uncomfortable as I am now, I would still choose this over the morning sickness I had in my first tri.

Re: 1st trimester...is so tough!!!

It got so much better for me around 12 weeks. I still have a very decreased appetite but I am not nauseous any more and the extreme exhaustion went away. My husband actually said to me "It is nice to have my wife back!" Chat Icon The one negative thing is that my hormones have been worse in my second trimester. I can cry at the drop of a hat and I usually do. Chat Icon

Probably the fatigue at about 10 weeks. Second trimester great. (minus the insomnia) Third trimester - fatique again.
