After a long absence (almost 6 weeks) I finally got back to WW. I gained 1.8 since my last weigh in. The week before my weigh in, I came back from a vacation where all I did was eat.

So now I am back to the plan. Of course DD's birthday party with pizza and cupcakes yesterday and lots of stress made it difficult, today I am back on track.

I am back everyone!!!!

After Super Bowl Sunday, DH and I lost all motivation. We got visitors after that and they just left. DH is not really officially doing WW now but I let him know that I am back on as of today and if he doesn't do it with me...he's on his own for dinner IN A DIFFERENT ROOM!!!

I'll be strong! I've gained 14 pounds total since October. Lost 7 in January and gained it all back! :(

I am walking every morning as well. Had a small knee injury and can't run but I have the itch to run so once Doc clears me...I'm taking off!!!

Wednesday's my day. I'm down another 2lbs this week for a total of something like 21.4. Chat Icon

However, I'm still so large that the only people who've noticed are DH and my mom. Chat Icon Maybe in another 20lbs when I get closer to my wedding weight...

I am very excited. Still trying to get used to tracking points - so many of the foods I love are not so great for me. I definitely need to learn portion control. But I am looking forward to feeling healthier soon!

Hey ladies, I'm hoping you'll be more supportive than the peeps on WW online. I had no idea I couldnt ask for help finding points & got "yelled' at on the message boards.

Can any of you help me to figure out points for a backyard BBQ'd burger?? An average is fine...we threw out the Sabrett box that was holding the burgers.

Welcome to the new WW members and congrats ladies on the losses! I took a little trip as well and enjoyed lots of wine and cheese and fabulous meals. Went to WW this morning and used my no-weigh in pass. Going to treat this week as if it was my first week and really plan and count and measure. Hoping to get to -50 in the next few weeks! Chat Icon

I'm starting WW on Friday...I work the next 2 days and only have Thursday off, then I work Fri, Sat, Sun. My Chat Icon is this:

I will go grocery shopping on Thursday and want to get some WW food so I can start on Friday after my first meeting.....What are some good foods to buy that are easy to prepare or can be prepared the night before, and what is a sample day long eating plan for some of you...This might help me in getting the right foods. TIA!!!!

What I find helpful is to pull out a WW cookbook and plan my meals for the week before I go food shopping. That way, I'm buying only what I need and I have a plan for what I'm going to eat each day. For me, spontaniety leads to pizza and cake.

ETA: It's not enough for me to say I'll have chicken. I need to have a recipe in hand to know exactly what I'm going to do with the chicken. Otherwise, the chicken sits in the fridge, goes bad and I throw it out and DH orders pizza.

I have stocked up on lots of fruits and vegetables and lean meats, like chicken breast and lean ground turkey. I also use whole wheat wraps now instead of bread. I buy reduced fat cheese too and sugar free popsicles as a treat.

Basically I look at the label, if there is one, and if the food is high is fat, I don't buy it.

Hi! Here are some ideas to help you get started.

Breakfast
Oatmeal with berries
Cereal like Kashi or plain shredded wheat
Egg whites
WW shake made with milk
Yogurt shake with frozen berries
Light english muffin with peanut butter

Lunch
Salad with grilled chicken
veggie burger
yogurt
leftovers

Dinner
turkey burgers
hamburgers made with extra lean chop meat
baked ziti- ww pasta, low fat cheese
grilled chicken with ww couscous and veggies
london broil w/baked potato with salsa
lean steak

snacks
fruit
veggie
laughing cow cheese
100 calorie packs
94% FF popcorn
sugar free fat free pudding
jello
hot chocolate

I always make extra for dinner so I can bring leftovers for lunch. For example, if I have grilled chicken for dinner, I'll make extra so I can have it with a salad for lunch.

Good luck! The first 2 weeks are the hardest. I found eating what I love (like pasta) but substituting lower point food was the easiest way to go. Like ww pasta instead of white and making my own sauce!.

Hello Everyone-I had fallen off the wagon but I am back on this week and plan on sticking with it! I had my son's christening last week and I look like Chubby McChub in all the pictures, that was enough to get back on track. My goal is to not look chubby in his First Birthday pictures which is in August!

I am committing to that!

Went back for the first time in a month... Lost .8... which is good considering I thought I'd gone up.

After a crazy busy work month, I'm back to me :)

ETA: Down 7.2 total. I'd like to lose another 20 pounds :)
