Star ? about Licenses
We changed our address on our licenses but it said it could take up to 4 weeks to come. What if they don't come in time for the cutoff for STAR???? I can't get anyone on the phone at the Mineola office

We used our temporary licenses (made copies of them and our old picture ID from the previous license) and attached that with the STAR application.

the star deadline is March 1st in most towns.

we have the same problem i sent my husband to the dmv today to get the license and registration taken care of....we called nassau county assesment and they said the deadline is Jan 2

We were sent our new licenses in about 2-3 weeks so hopefully you will be ok. The deadline for the Town of Hempstead is Jan 2nd...I guess some are also in March.

We got ours in exactly 4 weeks. Town of Oyster Bay is January 2.
