Its Time!
Hi all!
I'm pretty much new here and just wanted to introduce myself! (sorry if alittle long)
I'm Kristin and live in Germany with my Austrian husband. I'm originally from NJ though, and I found this site through the liweddings site. We just got married in July (although legally we had already been married snce July 2006 byw ay of a civil ceremony.this was the big wedding with vows, rings, family, etc), and are ready to move on to the next stage in our lives..having babies!!!
Our case is probably different than most here. I had cancer when I was 14 and to avoid my ovaries being radiated, they transposed them but had to cut the tubes in order to move them far enough out of the way...so as far as we know thats the only thing stopping us from getting pregnant.
I just went for my day 3 fertility test this morning and I am already nervous about the results! I can tell I will have a hard time with this whole process because I hate having to wait for test results.
DH also scheduled his sperm analysis but I guess they are so busy so we have to wait until November 7,a nd the next day we have an appointment with the RE to discuss the reults of the tests and get things started... I'm so impatient, I just wanna start this process already!

Wow! A poster from Germany, cool!
Well, its a long process, especialy for those of us that are impatient, but if you have any questions there are many of us here who have been through a lot of the things you may have to go through. Even if your situation is different, if you have to do IUI or IVF or even have questions on testing, many of us have already been down those roads and can help with questions or concerns.
The best of luck to you both and congrats on the big wedding!! Oh, and welcome! I hope your stay on the Infertility board is nice and short!!
