Just thought I would share
Went to the Doctor's yesterday for my first internal exam, it hurt like hell  , Doctor told me that I was not dilated or effaced at all, baby is running right on time. I thought for sure she was going to come early, but I guess she is pretty comfy in there. I go back next week!!!

my first internal was painful also.. then the following week i was 50% effaced, so you never know. Today i have another dr appt with internal so i will see if i am more effaced.
i think the internals get easier as the weeks go on so hang in there.

I am so sorry that your internal hurt you!
I was actually pleasantly surprised that my first internal did not hurt at all... and the baby had not dropped and I was not at all dilated. Go figure.
I have another one scheduled for tonight, so we will see if there is any progress. I have a feeling this baby is going to be late!
