this weather is horrible.....

anyone else feel this way? i refuse to go out in this rain.. i dont want to get stuck in a puddle

My children have cabin fever in the worst way. Nap time cannot come fast enough.

I'm in VA and we haven't had a good rain in months. We need a good day or two of rain. Our grass is completely dead on our property since we don't have sprinkler systems everywhere. hurts my poor dogs feet.

I'm not asking for the monsoon you guys are having (hope everyones property is safe, my inlaws basement is flooded) but can we have SOME rain???

I left to go to the Dr and the BQE was so backed up- I got off @ the 1st exit I could and went home. Cancelled my Dr appt. until tomorrow.

It seems to have let up around here( Queens) but there was some NASTY thunder and lightening accompanied by rain of biblical proportions!!!!!!

Yep! It is horrible! I attempted to go to work, but after trying 3 different roads and them all being closed- I decided to take that as a sign that I should be home today!

I made it through one puddle on the way to work, then turned around to try to take a different route when I hit huge arse puddle # 2, then had water come into my car through the bottom of the passenger door at huge arse puddle # 3. I hung out in a dry parking lot for a while before finding an escape route to get to work. All in all my 15 minute ride took an hour.

I'm stuck at home, trying to work from home, though a lot of stuff I need to at work. No trains are running around me, and those that are have LONG delays. Not sure I'm going in at all today. Stinks--I'm really trying to save my time!

Tell me about it I had to come in to work today I live in queens and work in m idtown the E and the F trains weren't running for a bit so it took me forever to get into work and I had to come in cuz my co worker is off today.

I couldn't get into work either - no service on my line so work from home day Of course, I found out about the suspension of service after standing in the monsoon for 35 minutes waiting for a train
