Starting to buy a house
Just was wonder want is the first step and the other steps in buying a new house for the wife and I.

The first thing we did was get the pre-approval for the mortgage. Then we found a really good realtor (who was recommended to us by a friend). After that you just look and look and look until you find something you like. Once you find something you'll place a bid that hopefully gets accepted, then you have the inspector come in to check it all out, then you go to contract and after that start getting you mortgage approved.

the first step is definitely getting the pre approval on the mortgage. and then spending countless hours on mls, optimum homes, fsbo etc etc just seeing what's out there, getting to know what you like/want/need. best of luck!
