Re: WHO WOULD PAY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, you'd be surprised. A lot of people pay that much. My mother almost paid that much for Ava's bedding in BBB becuase most of their bedding is similarly priced. Personally, I didn't want her spending that much because she's a baby who spit up on everything, but hey, to each their own!

Re: WHO WOULD PAY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!

That reminds me of when we were looking for baby furniture before Sarah was born and we were in Behrs. There was a sign that said 6 piece set $1500, and DH says "Wow, that's a great deal!" until I pointed out that was for the silk bedding, not the furniture. He was stunned, we didn't even pay that much for our bedding.

I have a gf who spent $1500 on her DD's nursery bedding. I didn't spend that much but I did pay a good amount. Some women spend it on bags and such....To each his own......

I don't care how much you have to me it is a waste.

Andrew would spit up, pee etc in the crib. It is a baby. I can see if it was an adult.

My friend used her sets through 2 children, and they are immaculate. I am not sure how she cleans them, but they look brand-new. The fabrics and sewing are precise and very couture. I understand what people are saying about a baby not knowing the difference, or it being a waste b/c the baby will "ruin" it, but it is of an amazing quality.

I would if I liked it that much.

People told me I was nuts for spending what I did on DD's, but I get tons of compliments on it and to this day, I'm still in love with the set! I have no regrets Chat Icon And I will do the same for #2 (and however many more we have.)

I can't say DD has ever spitup, pooped or peed on her bedding. The sheets, yes. The bumpers, crib skirt and blanket, no.

Same here! Especially since like others said, the baby pees, poops, and spits up on them. It's a waste of money, whether you have that kind of money or not.

Re: WHO WOULD PAY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really don't get this at all.

Than again, I don't really get any of those beddings at all. The baby doesn't need it at all. Further more, the blanket can't even be used till the baby is old enough not to suffocate in it.

I have a regular white bumper and wonderful sheets that zip up and are an absolute breeze to change. My friend recommended them to me and I don't know what I would do without it.

I also don't find this bedding that appealing so I probably wouldn't even give it a second look.

Yes, I think that is what they are called. I got them from BabyCenter or Amazon when Benji was born and they are still in great condition. I LOVE THEM!Chat Icon

Thanks, she is doing well, although she doesn get pretty cranky from time to time and is a total mama's girl, always wanting to be right next to me!

She will be using those sheets soon as well!Chat Icon

Re: WHO WOULD PAY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!

No because it is ugly :)

Seriously, this is a luxury like any other one in life. If you have the $, I guess it isnt crazy, but personally I wouldnt buy a baby a thousand dollar bedding set that she will get dirty and outgrow in a few years time.

And I thought my DD's PB Kids bedding set that cost 250 was expensive!
