OK ladies - I am back - everything is ok!!!!
Never a dull moment... 
DH had a mild fever and a cough all day - he slept for most of the day. Since it was hot, Cailen and I were cooped up for most of the day. at 7:00, it was cooling off, Cailen was going thru his witching hour, so I put him in the car seat. He calmed down immediately, excited we were getting out. I heard Angelo taking a bath. I called to him from downstairs, telling him we were going to town, and I'd be back...
We had a wonderful walk - it was cool, Cailen was loving the outdoors, the breeze, everything, so we stayed out a long time. At around 9:20, I put him back in the car to go home. He fell asleep (we live 5 mins from town) - I came home, and figured since all the lights were off, that Angelo went to sleep. I chilled out downstairs, came on here (of course.)
I had to go to the bathroom, so headed upstairs, and that when I heard the water in the bathtub still running!!!
I went into the bathroom, and saw Angelo passed out in the tub! He was sort of slumped down.
I called his name - and he didn't respond.
Ladies- I though he was dead...
I tapped him, and he still didnt wake up! I began shaking him and screaming - full out panic mode. He woke up, but was so startled he thrashed around, and his eyes went up into his head - I thought it was a seizure - so still screaming his name, hyperventilating, and hysterical crying (yes - I am such a multitasker) I called 911. He finally woke up more, but was so weak he couldnt get out of the tub - so I was trying to pull him out while on hold for 911 (!!! if there was a murderer in the house, we would have all been dead, but thats for another vent...)
I never saw him like this ever. It was so terrifying. He was so weak, even when telling me he was ok. He let me continue talking to 911 - which is unusual too... he dried off and got dressed, and let me finish talking to 911.
They came really quickly. They could NOT believe that he was passed out in the tub for that long and didn't drown. Thats what they kept saying over and over again. How lucky he was that he didn't drown.
He was rushed to Huntington Hospital - I quickly posted to you ladies, threw some stuff into Cailen's diaper bag, grabbed him and left (thank god he was fast asleep in his car seat the entire time!) - Luckily I keep an emergency bag with stuff for him in the trunk - because I left the formula I was going to bring on the kitchen counter...
So, he was fine. The dr. said that taking a bath when you have a fever can do this to you - it does something to your blood pressure, so blood pools int he wrong areas, or something, and can cause you to pass out. So, we stayed in the ER while they gave him IV, took blood, etc. He had low potassium, but that was it.
Ladies- its going to take a long time to get the image of him in the bathrub out of my mind. I swear - I have post traumatic stress going into the bathroom. I keep looking at the tub and picturing him laying there.
Then the what ifs flood me -
What if I came home later?
What if I didnt have to go to the bathroom when I did?
What if Cailen were awake? If he was, I would have been tending to him and not going to the bathroom.
What if he did drown?
Then the guilt about leaving him. Of course I never could have forseen this - he has been sick many times, taken a hundred baths... but still. I feel so upset that I left and had this wonderful peaceful walk wth Cailen while he was unconscious in the tub....
Thank God, thank God, thank God.... everything is ok and he is fine and nothing happened.
Is it so much to ask for a peaceful weekend before I return to work???
 I told DH that I was sorry about complaining that I was bored today. 
He just took Nyquil before going to bed. I'm like - why not take a nice warm bath?

He seems to be feeling so much better today.
I am still very shaken up...
And, typical me, I can't stop joking about it, so I think it hit me pretty hard - thats what I do when I'm really upset....

It will take time to get that scary image out of your mind but it will get better....so glad you found him and he will be fine
