Ovulate on day 17 of 28 day cycle?

Hi All!! I have a question for you girls. I have been doing opk's for the last 2 months, and both months I ovulate on day 17 of a 28 day cycle. I was just lookin it up, and it seems like I am only a day or so away from having a luteal phase defect. Should I be concerned about this? Maybe I should make an appt with my gyno?? Maybe I am looking too far into this. It says I can take B6 to help this out. Anyone have any advice? Thanks girls!!

i don't think a 10 day LP is considered an LP defect. I think under 10 is technically a potential cause of problems conceiving. mine varied between 7-10 days. last cycle was 9. one before that was 7. right now i'm 22DPO
i used raspberry tea this cycle for the first time, and while i have no idea if it helped, i took it for that reason. i mentioned to my dr. in november that my LP's were on the short side and he said somtimes it can be a problem and sometimes it's not an issue, and to try for a few months and see. he didn't suggest any supplements.

I had a similar lp and called my gyno about it. They had me come in a couple of days after I ovulated to test my progesterone levels...everything was fine, but I think checking with your dr is always good for your own peace of mind

I ovulated @ day 17 too and I am 4 weeks prego now. Had i not done those ovulation test, i would have always been doing it at the wrong time lol. We kept trying at day 6-12. I didnt think you could ovulate so late.
