ferry to Foxwoods ?
has anyone taken the ferry to Foxwoods?
how long is the drive once youre off the ferry ? any tips or things I should know?

i took it over from orient point to ct, to go to mohegan sun (which is very near foxwoods)
it's only like a 25 minute drive after you dock to either. very easy to get to!
stay warm on ferry, i went in summer and it was cold because of course the wind and water. so dress accordingly!

there is also the option of parking in orient and taking the seajet in...and when u get to New London, there is a bus to Foxwoods or Mohegan...you get like 15.00 for food and 15.00 for the big wheel bets....and the ferry costs like 35 round trip....so u realluy make 30 back kinda...
Or, if u do take your car, when you get to Foxwoods, go to the bus lobby & get your vouchers!

Holly- even if we drive, we can get vouchers? wont they ask for ticket stubs from the bus ?

I beleive you can-show them your ferry tickeet receipts-thats what my parents do when they drive over & they get their vouchers---go down to the bus lobby, as that is where we got them from.
I KNOW we do it with mohegan every time--have nto been to Foxwoods that often lately, but I remember we would go to the bus lobby booth & show our receipts for the ferry & get vouchers.
