Does anyone own a Bobopedic mattress?

If so do you like it? How long have you had it? Is it durable?

We are looking for a new mattress although ours is only 7 years old and we paid $$$$ for it.Chat Icon Chat Icon It's no longer comfortable. We like the Bobopedic but don't know anyone who owns one. Feedback?

Re: Does anyone own a Bobopedic mattress?

We've had a queen bob o pedic for 5 years now and still love it. My brother just bought one too and loves it....a few other friends have bought one and no complaints. It does have a funny smell at first but it goes away. Also I think it gets hot, like the memory foam creates heat, but my husband says he doesn't think so. But it was never to the point where it was so hot... just thought warmer than normal. Hope that helps.

Same here. We've had a firm Bob-o-pedic for just over 4 years. DW thinks it retains heat. I don't really notice it. I would definitely buy another one. We may get one for DS soon.

We have had ours over 2 years & we are happy with it. Only complaint is that the fitted sheet & mattress cover slips off 1 corner sometimes, but no big deal.

Thanks everyone. We are going to check out Sleepys tomorrow but we're pretty sure we are going to end up with the Bob.

One more question. I read something about off gassing being really bad with Bobs. Did anyone experience this? Also what covers do you use for the mattress? I know Bob sells some but does anyone else use any other covers (waterproof bed bug proof covers)

We do,love it. It's so comfy, we have the plush one. The gas is bad! We left the mattress open for 2 weeks until it didn't smell anymore , I couldn't stand the smell.

We use the bob cover

We liked the Cirrus I believe it was $1100 not including tax-delivery. You can get one side firm and one plush which is perfect for us.

Re: Does anyone own a Bobopedic mattress?

My sister had a Bob-o-pedic mattress and had nothing but bad experiences with sagging. She had to call them four times to replace the mattress.

We've had ours for 3 years and love it! We got the King Firm. I do agree with PP's that have said it retains heat. My DH doesn't notice it but I do!

We have a Bob-0-pedic for our son and we have a tempurpedic for ourselves. I wont say the bob-o is bad its a good bed BUT its no where near as comfortable as the tempurpedic.

I don't personally have one but a very good friend has two or three in her house. She loves it and raves about the quality and price.

I think I am the minority here. We originally got the bobopedic, after three days - DH and I couldn't stand it anymore. We had to fight with the store manager to exchange it within the 30 days. We got a new mattress, forgot which one. It sucks too. We will never buy another bob mattress again.

This was our big complaint. We turned the mattress and that did nothing.

Re: Does anyone own a Bobopedic mattress?

LOVE ours! We've had it about a year now & I sleep wonderfully & never wake up with back pain like I used to in my old pillow top mattress.

I also never noticed the heat issue, which was a huge concern of mine before we bought it based on reviews on here. My old mattress I'd wake up all sweaty...this one is perfect. Maybe they corrected it?

Re: Does anyone own a Bobopedic mattress?

I actually ordered one today.

Our pillow top was given to us gently used by friends and we often wake up in lots of pain.

I have a regular box spring though that I am keeping.

Is this going to be okay?

(Saleslady said people have run into issues with sagging if they try to put it on something with holes).

I didn't want to buy their boxspring if I didn't need it.

My sister has the name brand one that she loves.
