The kid CAME IN MY HOUSE. Just let himself in. Then when I told him I wasnt buying anything cause I had no money he looked around and said "it looks like you do"
I was so sick and weirded out.

I thought I would be nice and order a few mags, but when the guy told me the total was over $600 I almost sh*t my pants! 
So, me being the nice girl that I am (aka SUCKER), I agreed to the cheapest subscription which was for $66 for 3 yrs. (I know...totally outrageous...don't ask me why I agreed.)
Anyway, I was just researching them online and there are 8 complaints against them w/the Mississippi Better Business Bureau.
So I was going to put a stop payment on the check I gave the guy and cancel the subscription immediately (today).
Do most banks charge you for a stop payment on a check??? (Can you tell I rarely use checks?! ) I'd ask my DH....but if he finds out that I didn't turn this guy away immediately, he'll beat me silly.

stop payments are usually a $25-$30 fee.
i would cancel the subsc. and stop pmt.

I think the guy that came to my house kept his distance b/c of my dogs.
the guy that came to my house was asking questions about what I do for a living, what my DH does for a living and questions regarding my neighborhood and such. Now I'm kind of nervous.

I was JUST posting that about this. Not more than 5 minutes ago, did my doorbell ring. I gave 20 bucks through my window. I thought he was gonna barge in a rape me, and lied that I had "King" my rottie in the house, and couldnt open the door because of it.
P.S. My poop is bigger than my dogs. I dont have a rottie.

3 magazine subscriptions!!!! I totally was not expecting him to say $600.
I put a stop payment on the check figuring taking a hit for $25 is better than $66.  I'm just angry at myself for not turning the guy away to begin with. (I normally tell everybody who comes to the door I'm not interested.)
The worst part is I already have something like 25 magazine subsciptions!!! LOL
