Yipee!!!! My third (and I pray final) postpartum surgery is scheduled!!!!!
WOOO!!!!
For those that don't know me, I have had leg numbness since having DS a year ago. After 9 months of extensive tests, one dr finally thought she knew what it was!
They first did my left leg and I got feeling back two days later. I was absolutely shocked. I wanted to get the right leg done quick, but I tore my knee and was doing damage on my numb legs. The doctors confirmed that I needed the knee surgery first. I had that two weeks ago. I am being weaned off the crutches and have been cleared for my third (and let's pray, my final) surgery.
It's scheduled for October 28th. If all goes well, I can actually take DS trick or treating!!!!!
This year has been absolute hell physically but absolute heaven emotionally with my son. I want to thank you all for your support through a tough time. Hopefully by November I will be able to drive distances again and get to some GTG!!!!!
