Yet another ? about washing the clothes...
I know not to use fabric softener, I have Dreft or All Free & Clear and no bleach BUT my other questions are:
1-Hot, Warm or Cold water? I'm guessing warm???
2-White and colors together???

I use dreft to wash DS clothing on hot with double rinse on the heavy cycle.

okay, at the risk of sounding insane... i used a half-half mixture of warm and cold water, with dreft detergent. i did two rinse cycles and didn't use dryer sheets. DH thought i had finally lost it

I heard that cold water is best for removing soap so I assume it would remove chemicals best too. For the first wash I use cold, then warm or hot depending on how soiled.

I wash everything on cold and mix it all together and use whatever soap we use. Actually I don't do it, the wash n fold lady does

C r a p...DH used warm and we put it all together. It's not the worst thing, nothing ran thank goodness and all came out well. In the future though, I think I will do cold! Thanks ladies!
