yeehaw! i'm going to texas! (not travel related)
i have been asked to be the scholar/artist-in-residence at a syangogue in austin, tx for the end of Nov.!
i am so excited!!!
One of my closest friends is the Cantor there.

i'll be a visiting clergy person-- i'll be doing a concert w/ my friend and co-leading shabbat services with him.
(and it's an excuse to see him and go to texas!)
i wont lose vacation days from my congregation b/c this is considered to be professional development and it's also great PR for my synagogue.

I LOVE Austin. I live in Dallas but Austin is my favorite area of Texas. I hope you have a great time!
