YAY!! I picked up my cruise packet today!!
One more month and I am off with my mom on a cruise to the Keys and Cozymel!! And the best part is when I went to pick everything up we upgraded to a higher deck and even got money back!!
One quick Question..for anyone that has been on a cruise..I don't have a passport, I am using my birth certificate..do I need my marriage license?? They recommended bringing it because my name is different on my birth certificate..but I really don't want to bring all my most important docments with me..did anyone ever need it?? Should I just bring it??

If they suggest it definitely take it with you. I have heard many stories on cruisecritic of people with the wrong birth certificate (hospital and not state) and in general just not having the documents needed to board.
The last thing you want to do is get to the dock and have them say sorry you will not board - b/c then you are plan stuck and out of your money.
This is why I have a passport - I too would be concerned about losing my bc and marriage license.

you DEFINATELY need it if you are going under your married name!
My aunt did that last year but she didn't bring her marriage licenese...They would NOT let her on the ship!

Thanks girls...wanna know something funny..my parents have been divorced for almost 15 years and my mom still has her married name..she to has to dig out her marriage license..she said at least it was good for something.
