Xpost: Job related question
Would you apply for jobs out of state if you weren't able to find a job at all or one that didn't even pay the bills? I'm just asking because my DH is having such a hard time finding a job here (besides the 1 month contract job), but I've found a bunch in other states. Of course it would have to be a state I would want to live in. Not tornado alley or anything!
What is your opinions? I love the area we live in now (not where I am though) but if he can't find work what else is there to do? We've already relocated out of NY to NC and have been here since we were 21.

I've applied to jobs out of state and even got some interviews out of it. it didn't work out, but at least I got some hits.

If there was nothing tieing me to my current location except that i really liked the area, and i couldnt find work - i would definitely explore my options elsewhere.
