Xpost from Pregnancy: Low progesterone levels?? BTDT's, please help
I went for blood work back on the 27th of Jan...I was 7 wks preg.
My OB just called now and told me progesterone level is 5, they like it to be 11. So I have to start taking a supplement immediately. From what I have researched, this doesn't look good.
Has anyone else had this experience?? Was the pregnancy successful, or should I be preparing myself for the worst?

My levels were ridiculously low...
My HCG levels were fine, better than fine actually...
But my progestrone levels were, at around the same time as you, a 4 and then a 3!!!!

I had low prog. I was put on prometrium & gave birth to this little guy in November

I had low progresterine with both pregnancies , was put on prometrium in the 1st trimester and had a healthy little boy and now I am due in a week and a half with a little girl

I was on Prometrium with DD and am now on it again with this pregnancy....
I am repeating what PP wrote...Don't Google!!!

A friend of mine had really low progesterone with two of her pregnancies, she was put on supplements and had a healthy  and  .

Mine was very low too. used the suppositories for a few months and had Peyton!
