As some of you may know, my 16 month old nephew was killed 2 years ago when he was backed over by an SUV. My BIL & SIL have been very active in raising awareness and increasing car safety for kids.
At this moment, 20 senators have agreed to co-sponsor a bill that would eliminate the blind spot in all cars. The plan is to have 20,000 signatures on a petition that will be taken to Washington DC in early July to present to members of Congress and demand the rest of the members take action and help prevent these tragic deaths and injuries.
