I'm so sorry. That is really devastating. My cat of 18 years also died of lymphoma. I was shocked when the vet told me it was cancer. We did not choose to do chemo b/c of the cost and the age of my cat. They can give your cat an injectable steriod that can reduce the tumor for a period of time. We just tried to keep our cat comfortable and when it was time we said goodbye. I'm really sorry.

I am so sorry Michelle. I had a cat for 19 years who was my baby. I still miss her. Its so heartbreaking to lose them. I am praying your little guy recovers and does not have cancer. Also, we found one of our kitties on the LIE after he had been run over by a car. We took him to that same vet and they saved his life so IMO, they are pretty good over there.

I am so sorry! I lost my kitty last year right after my first miscarriage...she was 17 years old and poisoned by that contaminated food from Menu Foods.
It is so hard, they are so much more than pets, they are part of you.

UGHHH! I am a cat lover and have had pet cats my whole life. It breaks my heart to hear when they get sick. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your furbaby!

Thank you all. They did the endoscopy and it is most likely lymphoma. Even worse, the tumor is actively bleeding, which is causing him to be anemic. He might now need a blood transfusion. We can go and visit him a little later, so we'll see what happens.
