WWYD regarding weekend plans...
....we are supposed to go to CT to visit my SIL & her family---we were supposed to go last month, but had to postpone due to my DHs work----both of our kids were sick last week, but now better, so I thought. SIL just called, my niece (8yo) has strep (she just got over strep earlier this week)----she spoke to her Ped about us coming to visit during the visit, he thought it would be okay due to the fact she will get antibiotics this afternoon & tomorrow morning before we get there--------I was really looking forward to this trip and I don't want it to cloud my judgement-----would you still go??? (DS is almost 8 months old) TIA!

Sorry, changed my mind. I just noticed your ds is only 8 months. I was told that they can not get strep so young, so I think your in the clear. Ask your ped.

If she is on antibiotics the infection is probably not contagious anymore. Just ask your friend to wash the toys and I dont think it should be a problem.

I would go, as long as she was on an antibiotic for 24 hours prior.
