WWYD-mother's day gift question

Last year, DH got me the best gift for mother's day-a certificate for a spa treatment.

A couple months after mother's day, I wanted to book an appointment. However, I lost the certificate and the spa says that without the cert I can't get the credit. Even with the receipt (they say it could have been used).

I haven't told DH-I just keep looking for it. Meanwhile, DH kept asking me when I was going to use it. And, he's now made a comment that it must not have been a great gift because I didn't use it.

This was the best gift ever and I really want him to continue to get them for me, I just feel stupid telling him that I lost it.

Okay, in writing this, I know I have to fess up. I would hate to go the rest of my life without another massage!

First- i would just tell him ~ you shouldn't feel stupid , things happen!

SECOND - How dare the massage place say that they can't take a reciept.. most places number thier giftcertificates just for that reason... ihate places like that!
