WW ladies...

Do you find you lose more weight when you eat more of a variety of food throughout the week or when you eat pretty much the same thing week after week?

Re: WW ladies...

Since I have been on since Feb. I have found that it is good to "mix it up". In the beginning, I was so good. Constantly eating the same type of things. I find once in a while eating a slice of pizza or something a little fatty really mixes it up and I will lose more. I think my body got used to the same things, so I try to shift what I eat every couple of weeks.

Re: WW ladies...

I've been having up and down weeks. Last week when I lost 4.8 lbs. I ate almost the same things all week. For lunches I ate either pizza or Taco bell. I would have either 1 slice of pizza or 1 crunchy taco, and baked beans, then for dinner I would have KFC's Tender Roast filet meal. I've pretty much been eating the same things for lunch, just last week I ate the chicken 4 times. This week I couldn't do that because we're spending way too much money on food. I started cooking more and bringing lunches this week so my food has been altered a little bit. I'm afraid that if I don't eat the same foods I'll gain weight or won't lose any. I honestly don't know why we have ups or downs. I just think that our bodies fluctuate so much that what you eat might not matter at all as long as you stay OP.

Re: WW ladies...

I am not sure how long you have been doing WW, but I would say after a while, if you eat fast food or pizza more than once or twice a week, you may not keep losing, even if you are within your pts.

I think I do lose more when I change it up a little. The other thing I have noticed is that I am definitely more successful if I make sure I get those fruits and Veggies and the dairy in. For me personally, if I don't eat a good balance of foods, I don't lose as much.

Also, your body does fluctuate. I will have weeks where I lose a lot and cheated some and other weeks where I really follow the program and lose hardly anything. As long as the trend is down, I am happy Chat Icon

Re: WW ladies...

I'm in week 7 OP.

I always have my fruit and veggie servings, dairy, etc everyday and drink at least 64oz of water. I don't eat as bad as it sounds. I don't expect to keep losing so much after a while. I don't think it's because of what I'm eating I think your body just gets used to it. I think you could eat whatever you want as long as you're OP and get all your daily serving requirements in.
