WW digital app

I have never tried WW but am interested. I want to lose about 20 pounds. I do not want to go to meetings. Has anyone here only done the digital app and had success?

Re: WW digital app

I do WW but go to the meetings for support for both DH and me, since we have a lot to lose.
You can definitely do online only.

Re: WW digital app

I did meetings only 1 time when I first joined years and years ago. I definitely think I did a tiny bit better when I attended meetings but I found it to be too repetitive and it was mostly people talking about recipes and them trying to sell the newest snack food they had out (It could have been just my meeting spot - but that's what it was for me). What made me a little more focused was getting on that scale and having the woman have to track my weight.

Doing it online, I've skipped weigh in days because i KNEW it would be a bad one. Or if I do weigh, I'm doing it alone and can make excuses for myself.

With all that said, I don't think the cost is worth it. For me at least. If you're ready to lose the weight, you don't need someone watching you get on a scale. You'll do it yourself. I don't use the WW app anymore because it's just way too expensive. I use the iTrackbites app. If you use the pro version, it's only $37 a year as opposed to the $45 per month WW wants for their online version. iTrackbites has 5 WW plans on it (They call them by different names) so you can choose which plan works best for you. They also have an online community same as WW. It's pretty much the same exact thing. So if you choose Online only, I would recommend saving a ton of $ and using iTrackbites instead.

Re: WW digital app

Yes, I joined online only because I have no time for meetings. Plus its like half the price of meetings. I started in January and I am down 23 lbs so far, so it has been working for me, although slowly. I signed up for a 6 month plan so mine is almost up next month, after that I may look into an app like iTrackBites which is a lot cheaper (or free if you follow one of the older plans).

Re: WW digital app

I did WW online several years ago and lost about 25 lbs and then got pregnant with my 3rd and gained it all back and then some.

I actually am trying it again. Just online. I have no time for meetings anyway and I know I wouldn’t go. It’s my 2nd week and am down 2.4 lbs (and last week we went to a party that I definitely overindulged).
