wrong texts
have you ever replied to a text on the wrong thread?!
Oh god, i just totally texted my husband complaining about a friend of mine and sent it to a group of 5 mutual friends and gave specific names and an issue. i'm so mortified.

Yes, I've done that too but luckily what I texted what just something stupid so I wasn't too worried. I hope that everything is okay with your other friends now!!

I have.....DH and I were texting racy things back and forth and my dad texted me in the middle of it. Thankfully my response wasn't terrible and I was able to play it off

I wasn't invited to a party and kind of hurt that I wasn't...but i mentioned peoples names who were invited and hoping I didn't sound like a b*tch saying that they were invited and I wasn't

i do it all the freaking time lmao. Only once was it bad lol thankfully the other times were just stupid. I try and make myself check over and over again lol but sometimes my fingers are to fast lol

Yes it is horrible!! Im so much more cautious about it now. I double and triple check my messages when Im talking about someone now and make sure that Im sending it to the right person. It is the worse feeling.

I did this once years ago, only it was by email (pre-texting lol) I was young and stupid, got a compliment from my boss, and decided to tell my whole family what she said about how I was the best employee she had and that all the others were crappy workers... but instead emailed the entire department. I was mortified. I wanted to world to swallow me up. I seriously started job hunting that day. It was so hard to show my face in the office until I found a new job. It was like doing the walk of shame through the cubicles every. single. day. I still get horrible anxiety when I think about it, and it's been almost 20 years! lol.
But, it happens. Hopefully it blows over quickly and you can move on.

Oh my. Thank goodness you found out at least though.
My SIL bad mouthed another family member over text meant for her DD, but sent to the actual family member himself! He was pissed. I have texted the wrong person in the past, but thankfully just random stuff that's no big deal.

I have a friend who frequent sends me texts intended for a coworker with the same first name and first initial of the last name- they are usually work related so nothing racey but he is in construction and some are rather colorful-Shows me a totally different side of him.

After I had DD I accidentally texted a friend requesting she pick up a specific kind of maxi pads for me which I meant to send to my sister. Could have been a worse recipient but I was still embarrassed.

I was sending my husband a sexy message on fb and sent it to his friend w the same name instead. I told my husband but the other guy I just pretended it never happened. I barely see the guy anyways.
