I think I actually think the President's address was ok (although not sure I feel OK about the Nat'l Guard having to patrol the borders).

He should let our troops go home that are in Iraq now. These people need a break. I agree that we need the borders patrolled though, I just don't agree with taking the same people that haven't had a break and putting them on our borders.
Let them go home and resume their lives..haven't they given enough?

it was better the ususal- b/c he knows 70% of the people in this country don't think he is doing a good job- he was trying very hard
and 20% of those people voted for him- so this was his first chance to try to win them back
meanwhile- yeseterday all over the news was how they are illegally listening and tracking all our phone calls-

The whole ID card is a bunch of Cr@p. I was not born in this country yet I am a naturalized citizen. Should I have to carry an ID card that says I can work legally in this country because of the color of my skin. NO, I don't think so. I have yet to read the whole address, so let me not go any further.

It a different form of legal documentation as there is a problem currently with illegal documentation. They are trying to come up with ways to make it less easy to copy or make fraudulent copies of.

Ok, but my question is, does this apply to all of those that came from another country. I'm sorry I deal w/ enough shizz already, now I need an Immigration ID

I honestly don't know but my impression that it would replace a work visa or visitors visa. I don't think it was in addition to current documentation but instead of current documentation.
