Would you still go to Hawaii with your DC?
Ok, first I want to say that I know how crazy this sounds and I know I am over reacting, BUT I just can't shake the idea that if we take Gracie to Hawaii (SIL lives on Big Island) we might get caught in an earthquake and she might be hurt.
I know, I am NUTS and totally irrational, but I am concerned. Gosh, not that I see this in writing, I feel like a dork. I never thought I would be like this, but having a baby changes how you think about things, I guess. What would you do? TIA 
ETA: They live 15 minutes north of Kielua Kona and 45 minutes from the active Volcano.

i would go and leave DD with grandma. not for safety reasons, but for some alone time with DH  .
Unfortunately that is not an option and SIL wants to see DD. SIL offered to have us stay by ourselves for two night in her friends B & B on the island and she would watch Gracie while we did that.

I would maybe take a wait and see approach. If they have anymore activity I would wait. Otherwise I would go.

Sounds like good advice. DH thinks I am a nut and SIL said yesterday that she hopes we still come for a visit.
I feel like the bad guy for even bringing up the option of not going.

We will probably end up going, I just feel uneasy about being on a island if something like that happens while we are there, ya know? I guess I am being ridiculous.
