Would you rather..
Do all the food shopping
or
put it all away
or
you do both and it dosen't bother you
or
you don't do that stuff!

Like to shop. HATE putting it away.
It's so annoying how many times you have to ahndle the food before it's where it belongs...off the shelpf into the cart, out of the cart onto the register belt, off the belt into the bags, into the cart, out of the cart into the car, out of the car onto the table, off the table, into the fridge.
TOO MANY steps

That is sooo true!!! I hate putting the stuff away but if DH puts it away I will never be able to find anything ever again. He puts things in the most odd places and then I am calling him at work all day asking " where is this and where is that"

I have to be in the mood. Mostly, I hate lugging the groceries in the house. I pack them heavy so I can make fewer trips.
I usually do the food shopping but since DH gets home earlier than me I send him for dinner stuff or to the fish market..etc..
I like the shopping part...everything else..blah!

keith did all the shopping because he hated that i would spend so much... he was cheap with what he bought and would buy things by the hundreds. i have about 100 soda cans down stairs about 200 can foods but yet when i needed somethng it was never there.. why because he would buy things i would not need! but now i miss yelling at him about that. now i have to try and remember where every thing is in pathmark as for putting it away, i told him you wanna shop you put it away! if i had to shop i would do both so now you want it you do it... but then i had to take eveything out the next morning when he went to work and rearange it! men you can never win

I do both and it doesn't really bother me...if I left it up to DH...he'd buy all the wrong stuff and put it away all wrong too!

DH does both. he does the cooking, and i shove things in random places if i have to unpack- so thats His area. i also dont know how to cook, so when i do the shopping (like last time) we end upwith a box of 50 bags of fritos, 36 packs of famous amos cookies, and 32 packs of tic tacs

I like to do both. If DH puts them away all I hear is how we don't have any room for this and that and "we didn't need this" etc. I'd rather have him not know what I bought. Its easy cause men can't find anything in the kitchen anyway.

I would rather do the shopping and put the food away myself.
DH is not a fan of grocery shopping so when he goes, it's supermarket sweep style. I like to take my time and check for sales and such. And I like to put them away since he puts some things in places not logical to me.
