Would it be weird if I hung a growth chart in the hallway?
E got a beautiful painted growth chart for her b-day, but I can't hang it in her room bc she has a chair rail. 
Do you think it would be weird if I hung it right outside her bedroom door and the guest room (which will eventually be DC#2's room)

I don't think so...I have a wooden pottery barn one hung at the end of my hallway since we had no other place where it fit nicely
