Work/boss vent...

Is anyone having to deal with this....

One of my bosses is constantly making comments about my pregnancy. Some comments border on being downright insulting and some comments are insinuating that my work performance will suffer due to my pregnancy. This is my second pregnancy with them. I took off 1 day in my first pregnancy due to being sick from being pregnant but proceeded to work up until I gave birth. With this pregnancy, I haven't taken 1 hour due to being pregnant...I have worked my 10 hour shifts without complaint or requesting special privileges due to being pregnant. I don't understand why everything has to be related back to my being pregnant.

For example, after I came back after Christmas he inquired how it was. I said it was a long couple of days since I hosted Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner. His reply..."Were you barefoot?". There have been a few other comments to.

I'm just so tired of it!

his comment after the holidays was totally inappropriate! im sorry you have had to deal with this, you are working hard and there is no reason you should be treated like that!

that's just wrong, especially since you are working so hard. You don't need that.

Can you say something to HR?

I'm sorry- he sounds like a real jerk!

Can you say something to him- kind of jokingly like, "you sure like to bring back everything to me being pregnant- its a natural part of life- what are we going to do?" Maybe, he will get the hint without it getting confrontational?
