Wood Kingdom Birthday Party
my friend had her party booked for 6 months at wood kingdom. they just called her this morning (1 week before the party) and told her that they double booked that time and she will be getting a check back for the full amount of the deposit.
are you ***** kidding me? OMG has this ever happened to anyone? she has 20+ kids coming and all of sudden they see it's double booked.
me personally feel that someone they know wanted that date and time and said lets tell so & so we dble booked.
this makes me soooo angry. sorry just needed to vent and see if anyone else has ever experienced this

I would be SOOOO pizzed!!!
But just think of the kids!!! What is she going to do now?? Did they offer her another time slot? Maybe do the food first and then let the kids play??
Can she call Pump it Up or someplace like that and see if they have the same time available?? And then if its more money have Wood Kingdom pay for the difference for their screw up....

they basically said well we can do it another weekend, and when she said she couldnt they said ok, well sorry. thats it, sorry and heres your money. she called a whole bunch of other places, booked for the time she needed, so she rented a 10ft bounce house for the yard and will do it at the house.
and it's not like she has never had his party there, they are repeat party goers.
ughhh... i am pizzed for her. we were getting out pedis this morning when her DH got the call and he waited till she got home to tell her

That is terrible!!! Did your friend go down to wood kingdom today to complain? I was there for a birthday party around 11 am and the staff was apologizing up and down to a couple. It sounded like the same siituation so if it wasnt them, it looks like they messed up a few parties.
