Wish I knew what was going on
Its been 5 days and I just can't seem to shake whatever stomach bug is going on with me... so I took off from work and made an appointment with my regular doctor, since my OBGYN seems to think this is not pregnancy related. I'm just so worried that my baby is not getting the nutrients it needs because I've barely been able to eat anything substantial in the past 5 days. Ugh.

I had a stomack flu early in pregnancy and I lost 5 pounds in 4 days. It was horrible and I felt like the baby was going to suffer, but they're fine in there. The baby will take whatever nutrients it needs from what is stored in your body and when you feel better you can replenish. I hope you're feeeling better soon.

Maybe you can have like a V8 or something to drink that has a lot of vitamins? Can you keep anything down?

I am sure the baby is fine....I had an impacted tooth during my 8th month and couldn't open my jaw for a week - i drank everything and was in so much pain and my daughter is fine!

I had the stomach virus for 4 days straight in the beginning. It was horrible. My OB said the same thing "Not pg related, it was just a virus'.
I was "living" on Pedialyte Ice Pops..I kept little of it down.
My OB was correct. I got hit with the virus and baby was fine.
