Winthrop - babies hand/footprints
If I don't bring my babies baby books to the hospital, will they put their hand and footprints on a card/paper for me to put in their books? Since I'm having the twins by scheduled c-section, I'm not sure what they will do in the OR, and the books are kind of thick times two. So if I don't have to bring them, it would be less to lug around. I'm sure they aren't going to let me bring the books in the OR anyway, but I want to get the prints. Does anyone know what they do in cases like this? I know I can do it myself when I get home, but I'd rather have them do it in the hospital.

Same here. Both my kids footprints are on a card from the hospital.

we actually could have brought in something to Winthrop, but it was an emergency section that happened quite quickly so we forgot

I had 2 c/s (one emergency and one planned) at winthrop and both times they gave me the footprint on a special card. But I dont recall a handprint. Im sure if you asked for it, they would give it to you as well. I beleive they would allow you to bring the books in the OR if you wanted as well.

make sure you ask them!!! I had my twins therer had a natural delivery and they only did one baby i never got for the second because they took them to the nicu and never did it for me
