Winter hat and gloves?
Can you believe I can't find a winter hat and gloves for DS? I went looking by me in Nassau and my mom went looking by her in Suffolk and they were all out of stock. I guess everyone ran out this weekend when the weather turned cold. We tried Carters, Old Navy, The Childrens Place and Osh Kosh. Anyone have any other ideas? DS must have had a growth spurt b/c none of his hats fit his head anymore.
ETA: I remember seeing cute ones with puppy dog ears or a hat which had little dinosaur spikes. Were those at Carters or Babies R'Us?

I was just at Old Navy in Bohemia/Sayville yesterday and got DD a hat/mittens set. It's the hat with ear flaps that velcro under the chin...think they were $10 for the set. They seemed to have a good selection (I had a hard time finding them too). I *believe* they had several boys choices too. Is your mom able to get to that Old Navy? I probably can't get back there for another week, otherwise I'd pick some up for you and mail them.

Thanks...I'll ask my mom to take a run there. My parents are in Patchogue. That is the type of hat I was looking for, the one that covers the ears and goes under the chin.

No problem. If you go on their website, it shows all the patterns...they had a lot of choices yesterday. This is the one I got DD, but they have several colors.Image Attachment(s):
