let us know what u r thinking...we might go in sept as well. Dutch wonderland is always good for the lil' ones. Last time we went to hershey park and there was little to do for the small ones. Now the chocolate world outside of hersheys is kinda nice. We went bc opening date was 20pp and so worth it. For 55 dollars pp...its alot for not alot for RJ to go on. Now willow valley has an indoor waterpark so generally you can stay right on the premisis. You could get a deal where all food is included. They have acres of land with swings/slides etc... Up the block is a movie theater as well. There are also outlets uptown and a nice swing park in there. (kinda close to dutch wonderland actually). I think the rd over there is "30" and thats where all the restaurants are in case you dont do a meal plan.

We just came back from Dutch Wonderland and LOVED it. I think she liked it better than Sesame and now we are talking about moving up there. Go figure

Re: Willow Valley, dutch wonderland, hershey park???

Im looking to go the weekend before Rj's b-day.

Im waiting to find out when Ryan will start the supervisor program...

We will prob go 2-3 days... My grandfather lives in PA- so I was hoping to visit him one day, and cant decide if I wanna do dutch wonderland the other.

Id rather do Dutch then Hershy- but the combo pass wasnt much more than the reg pass to get into dutch.

Hmmm....decisions, decisions...

I stayed at Willow Valley two weeks ago. It's a nice resort. Like someone already said, there's a pool with water slides, a playground.

We went to Hershey. I have a 2 1/2 year old and I found there wasn't too much to do with her. My 11 year old had fun but the little one waited around. I could even put them on together because one was too big and one was too little.

Next time we're definitely doing Dutch Wonderland. I heard that's much better for little ones. Dutch Wonderland is only a few minutes up the road from Willow Valley.

Also, if you go up on Willow Valley's website, they have getaway package deals. If you book 2 nights you get 2 free tickets to Dutch Wonderland, Hershey, Strasburg Railroad. They also sell discounted tickets at the resort so you won't have to wait on line at the park.

I was just there as well,
we have been going to Willow Valley since my kids were born,
and Dutch Wonderland has more for a 3year old than Hershey.
Dutch isnt that big of a park, so you can do 1 day at DW and then on the way home hit Hershey...have fun!!!

I would def recommend DW for RJ. He's free (under 3 Chat Icon) and adult tix are $25 w/ $5 off from Optimum Rewards - we bought our tix online and printed from home.

One day (with the 3 hour free preview the night before) is all you need for DW.

Re: Willow Valley, dutch wonderland, hershey park???

I'm going up to Dutch Wonderland next week. We can't wait. I saw it on an episode on Jon & Kate Plus 8 & told my hubby that's where we are going this year. LOL

Thanks for the telling me that Hershey doesn't have much for 2 1/2 year olds. We might just skip that. Though I'm sure my 7 year old would want to go. We will see.

I've heard nothing but great things about Willow Valley. Unfortunately, they are having an American Girl shin dig there this weekend & were all booked. Chat Icon Maybe next year. LOL

CVS & Buger King have coupons for both Hershey & Dutch Wonderland. ($2.00 off DW. $5.00 of Hershey 2 Day Flex, $8.00 off Hershey Reg day sun-Fri. $4.00 off for reg day Sat. $1.00 off Hershey's Really Big 3D Show & $ 10.00 off VF Outlet Center)
