why doesnt jarred pasta sauce often have an exp date?
Anyone notice this or know? Many jarred tomato sauces/pasta sauces dont have exp dates.

Check this out - I heard about it from this site...
It says it lasts 12-18 months unopened and 7-10 days once its opened in the fridge.
HTH!
I don't think foods are required to have an expiration date - I notice a lot of pantry items don't have one...
