Why do I feel like this is the biggest decision of my life?
Convertible car seats. UGH! I feel like this is such a huge decision and I can't seem to decide on which one!
From what I've heard as far as safety, there's no rating system, it's just pass or fail, correct?
Then as far as comfort wise, do you just go by how they look?
And as far as bulkiness, do they all take up the same amount of space? Are there some that will be a tight fit between the front seats and the back?
I've seen the posts on which ones you would recommend, but are there ones that you would not recommend for any reason?

I absolutely love the evenflo triumph advanced lx. I got it for DS #1 because of ease of adjusting the straps. I loved it so much it was a no-brainer to buy the same ones for the twins. I agree with everything said here. We have 3 of the black and gray. They seem comfortable for my girls. They have never complained. I think all convertible car seats are bulky.

Another thought--i am in NJ but a lot of times the car seat inspection people can recommend a seat based on your car/space etc. I ended up with the britax boulevard which I like, but I am sure there are seats just as good or if not better for less money out there! They are definitely not all the same size, some have higher weights rear facing then others, more padding, etc.

Me too - I have a regular Marathon and a Marathon 70 and I like the regular one better.
