Why am I procrastinating about packing my hospital bag?
I know I'm scared about the c-section but it's only half done and I would feel so much better if I could just finish it already  I don't have enough pajamas or whatever they say to wear (I hate nightshirts) and I don't have my toiletries done. Just venting.....

let me tell you: get big underwear that is high on your belly! (I got them a few sizes too big as well) that was the best advice i got. and pack your own maxi pads! the pads in the hospital don't stick and are a pain in the butt!!!!

Pathetically, those are really the only things in my bag  besides a chapstick and a pair of pajamas.

Awww..don't be scared of the c section. It's not so bad, I had a WONDErful c section experience
I proscrastinated too. Just pick a day, write down on your calendar, make a list and just get it done you'll feel sooo much better.
My must haves for the c section
My own pads
Bras
Hard candy
Hair bands
Toiletries-Showers stuff, makeup, hair stuff
Gum
Slippers
Socks
Robe-I wore the one in the hospital and their gowns-I didn't want ANYTHING rubbing against my incision
I also wore the awesome mesh panties in the hospital, They are comfy!
I can't believe you only have 5 weeks left!! Seems like yesterday when I saw you, you were still in the 1st trimester!!!
Please please feel free to FM me with any questions about the section, I had a wonderful experience and recovery. It was a million times easier than a v birth to me!
Oh ETA: Def make sure you have some stuff to wear when you come home like comfy pants, nightgowns without elastic bands and high undies. I lived in granny pants and yoga pants for 2-3 weeks cause the elastic would rub on the incisision and your nerves are all tingly on your belly and any kind of pressure could be bothersome.

If it makes you feel better, I didn't finish packing my bag until last weekend... when I was 39 weeks pregnant!!!
How's that for procrastination!!!!!

i didn't get underwear at st. charles. they tried putting me in a maxi pad harness. It was awful!

OMG, i am SO scared of packing, i haven't even THOUGHT of it!! 
it's funny that no matter how excited i am about having my baby, i am also SO anxious, and it comes out in strange ways - i am DEFINITELY a bag-packing procrastinator.

I wasnt sure if I was going for the induction on tuesday or wednesday, the dr sent me on tuesday and I packed my bag after I got back from lunch with my mom and was waiting for DH to come home from work to bring me to the hospital. I am the worst procrastinator in the world!!
I just packed a few things and my parents and DH brought stuff to the hospital.
I did bring my tempurpedic pillow and was so glad I did, since I wound up having a c-section and was there for a few days

Awww try not to be too scared about the C-section. My friend was so scared about a C-section, it was her biggest fear during pregnancy and she ended up needing an emergency one. She cried when she found out because she was so scared.....but now she is so happy she had a C-section and opted to have it again for her second child. If people choose it, you figure it cant be THAT bad, right???

I hear ya...I finally did it for the twins when ii went for a check up and he said u are in labor go right now to the hospital and I said no and went home and got my bag and finished it up..ha
Uu def don't want to be doing that.
